Banana Peppers Hot Sauce

Let me introduce you to Banana Peppers Hot Sauce. It is full of flavor and goodness. Mild, sweet and tangy taste of banana peppers and spiciness of jalapeños work so well together. You can use it with anything you like. Put it on the rice dishes, tacos, fajitas, add it to stews and vegetables. Make it as spicy as you like just by adjusting the amount of jalapeños. Banana Peppers Hot Sauce will give your everyday dishes splash of flavor!

Banana Pepper Hot Sauce

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 6 banana peppers, seeded and chopped
  • 6 jalapenos, chopped and seeded
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/3 cups apple cider vinigar
  • 2 tsp kosher salt

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in the large pan.
  2. Add onion, banana peppers, jalapeños to the pan and sauté it until it's soft.
  3. Let it cool and transfer the mixture to a high speed blender.
  4. Add garlic, tomato paste, water, vinegar and salt to the blender and blend it until smooth.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

    Should this be stored in refrigerator or can it sit out? Do you know how long might it last either way?

      Andi, I’m sorry I didn’t specify it. It has to be stored in the fridge and it will last for about 2 weeks.
