Blistered Shishito Peppers with Butter Beans Crema
Ingredients
- 3 cups shishito peppers
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 can butter beans
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Toss shishito peppers with 1 tbsp of olive oil.
- Preheat the skillet over medium heat.
- Add peppers to the skillet and cook them, stirring occasionally until they are charred and tender.
- Add butter beans, garlic clove, lemon juice and kosher salt to the food processor.
- Process it until smooth.
To Serve
- Spread some bean creama on the plate, top it with shishito peppers, sprinkle the peppers with salt.
