Blistered Shishito Peppers with Butter Beans Crema

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups shishito peppers
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Toss shishito peppers with 1 tbsp of olive oil. 
  • Preheat the skillet over medium heat.
  • Add peppers to the skillet and cook them, stirring occasionally until they are charred and tender. 
  • Add butter beans, garlic clove, lemon juice and kosher salt to the food processor. 
  • Process it until smooth. 

To Serve

  • Spread some bean creama on the plate, top it with shishito peppers, sprinkle the peppers with salt.
