Easy Pickled Red Onions
Ingredients
- 2 red onions, cut thinly into circles
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp mustard seed (optional)
Instructions
- Pack thinly sliced onions in the jar with the lid.
- Mix hot water, vinegars, salt, sugar, mustard seeds, bay leaf to the jar until sugar and salt as dissolved
- Pour the mixture over the onions.
- Close the lid and shake a little.
- Refridgirate onions overnight.
- Serve and enjoy!
