Easy Pickled Red Onions

Ingredients
  

  • 2 red onions, cut thinly into circles
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp mustard seed (optional)

Method
 

  1. Pack thinly sliced onions in the jar with the lid.
  2. Mix hot water, vinegars, salt, sugar, mustard seeds, bay leaf to the jar until sugar and salt as dissolved
  3. Pour the mixture over the onions.
  4. Close the lid and shake a little.
  5. Refridgirate onions overnight.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
