Easy Pickled Red Onions

Ingredients
  

  • 2 red onions, cut thinly into circles
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp mustard seed (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Pack thinly sliced onions in the jar with the lid.
  • Mix hot water, vinegars, salt, sugar, mustard seeds, bay leaf to the jar until sugar and salt as dissolved
  • Pour the mixture over the onions.
  • Close the lid and shake a little.
  • Refridgirate onions overnight.
  • Serve and enjoy!
