I would like to start with this refreshing, yet filling smoothie recipe. It is loaded with spinach, mango and pineapple. I like to add chia seeds for a dose of protein for your morning. Banana gives sweetness and pineapple balances it with some needed acidity. Perfectly balanced, it will brighten up your morning and will give you energy for the day. It can also be perfect for the afternoon snack.
Green Goodness Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 2-3 cups spinach
- 1 cup mango
- 1 cup pineapple
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- 2 cups ice
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Add banana, spinach and water to the blender.
- Starting the blender on the low mixing speed and blend until smooth.
- Gradually start moving to higher blending speeds and adding the remaining ingredients.
- Blend until smooth, serve and enjoy!
