Everyone needs a go-to recipe for the Simple Green Salad. This salad is full of nutrients and can go with any meal you make. Add quinoa and avocado to it and it will transform to a hearty meal by itself.
Simple Summer Salad
Ingredients
- 1 romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 stacks celery, tough fibers peeled off, chopped
- 1/4 cups green onion, chopped
Simple dressing
- 1/4 good quality olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- In the mixing bowl combine lettuce, parsley, green onion, tomato, celery and green pepper.
- Pour olive oil and lemon juice over the salad.
- Add salt and mix in from the bottom up.
- Try it to adjust the seasoning.
- Serve and enjoy.
