Walnut Butter And Figs Toast

Start your morning right with the Walnut Butter and Fig toast. Walnuts are great source of Omega-3s and healthy fats. They are so good for you! Sprinkle them of top and it will give your toast much needed crunch. I’m always looking for ways to incorporate walnuts to my daily diet. Figs and walnuts are a perfect match! Figs are so sweet and soft. And rosemary brightens up and balances the flavors. Finish it up with the splash of honey or maple syrup. Just delicious!

Walnut Butter and Figs Toast

Course Breakfast, Snack

Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices bread of your choice
  • 3 figs, sliced lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp walnut butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tbsp chopped, toasted walnuts
  • 1 spring rosemary, chopped

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bread in the toaster.
  • Spread walnut butter on top of each slice.
  • Top the bread with fig slices.
  • Sprinkle toasted walnuts and rosemary on top and drizzle the toast with maple syrup or honey.
  • Serve and enjoy!
