Lemony Black Sesame Sauce Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz pasta of your choice
  • 3 cups arugula
  • 2 cups green peas
  • 1 cup black sesame tahini paste
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of water to boil.
  • Add salt and a splash of olive oil to the water. 
  • Once it boils add pasta and cook it according to the instructions on the package till al dente. 
  • 2 minutes before the pasta ready add green peas to the water. 
  • Reserve 1 cup of pasta water. 
  • Drain pasta and peas and set aside.
  • Put 1 cup of black sesame tahini paste to the mixing bowl. 
  • Add lemon juice, garlic and salt and mix until smooth.
  • Add pasta and peas to the large skillet, pour sesame sauce over it and mix in. 
  • Add a bit of reserved pasta water to the skillet and heat the pasta through for about 3 minutes.
  • Taste pasta and adjust the seasoning. 
  • Mix in arugula right before you serve the pasta. 
  • Serve and enjoy!
