Red Fire Roasted Peppers Toast with Hummus and Oregano

Ingredients
  

  • 1 slice sourdough bread
  • 1 fire roasted pepper (canned or see recipe below)
  • 1 tbsp hummus http://lettuceleafblog.com/simple-traditional-hummus/
  • few leaves oregano
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil

  • 4 red bell peppers

Instructions
 

Fire Roasted Peppers

  • Preheat oven 450 F
  • Cut and seed red peppers
  • Place it on the baking sheet and roast till its blistered and black in some parts
  • Place peppers in covered mixing bowl for 30 minutes
  • Peel the skin from peppers
  • Discart the peel and cut peppers in half
  • Keep it in the airtight container with some olive oil

Fire Roasted Peppers Toast

    To arrange

    • Toast a sourdough bread
    • Spread hummus on the toast
    • Place a slice of fire roasted pepper on it
    • Drizzle olive oil on top of the pepper
    • Sprinkle it with few leaves of oregano
    • Serve and enjoy
