Simple Perfect Fries

LETTUCE LEAF

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Yukon Gold potatoes, scrubbed and cut about 1/4 inch wide
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Place cut potatoes in the large mixing bowl and cover it with the hot water.
  • Soak it for about 10 minutes.
  • Drain the water and put olive oil in the mixing bowl. 
  • Toss the potatoes with olive oil. 
  • Preheat the oven 475F. 
  • Line a large baking sheet with the parchment paper. 
  • Place potatoes on the baking sheet. 
  • Make sure the potatoes are a little distance apart. 
  • Bake it in the oven for 30 minutes. 
  • Turning the potatoes half way through cooking time. 
  • Make sure the potatoes do not over lap.
  • Take the fries out of the oven and sprinkle it with sea salt and ground black pepper. 
  • Serve and enjoy!
