Simple Perfect Fries

Prep Time 20 minutes

Course: Side Dish

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Yukon Gold potatoes, scrubbed and cut about 1/4 inch wide
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sea salt

Method
 

  1. Place cut potatoes in the large mixing bowl and cover it with the hot water.
  2. Soak it for about 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the water and put olive oil in the mixing bowl. 
  4. Toss the potatoes with olive oil. 
  5. Preheat the oven 475F. 
  6. Line a large baking sheet with the parchment paper. 
  7. Place potatoes on the baking sheet. 
  8. Make sure the potatoes are a little distance apart. 
  9. Bake it in the oven for 30 minutes. 
  10. Turning the potatoes half way through cooking time. 
  11. Make sure the potatoes do not over lap.
  12. Take the fries out of the oven and sprinkle it with sea salt and ground black pepper. 
  13. Serve and enjoy!
