Simple Traditional Hummus

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas, 15.5 oz
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 2 lemons, juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp iced water or more if needed
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt

Instructions
 

  • Drain the water from the chickpeas and rinse it well.
  • In the food processor combine chickpeas, tahini, garlic, juice of 2 lemons, salt and water.
  • Process until smooth.
  • Add more iced water if consistency is too thick.
  • Taste to see if more salt is needed.
  • Transfer hummus to the shallow bowl, serve and enjoy!
  • Store hummus in the airtight container in the fridge up to 4 days.
