Walnut Milk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Soak walnuts with salt overnight or at least for 8 hours.
  • Drain the water and rinse walnuts. 
  • Add nuts and 4 cups of water to the high speed blender. 
  • Blend in for about 5 minutes or until its completely smooth.
  • Place a nut milk bag (you can also use fine mesh strainer or cheese cloth) over a large mixing bowl and pour walnut milk into the nut milk bag. 
  • Squeeze all liquid out of the bag so only pulp remains. 
  • Discard the pulp. 
  • Store walnut milk in the fridge.
  • Serve and enjoy!
